Kyrl's Quay Competition 2005
Cork City ‘reclaims’ Kyrl’s Quay by the introduction of a series of ‘islands’. Connections, lines of vision to nearby landmarks and the forgotten line of the old city wall that traverses the site make a triangulated geometry that establishes the new ‘islands’ of apartments, a hotel and a market area.
