Inis Oírr: Completion 2009
A west of Ireland summer house designed by a local engineering practice to planning stage is redesigned internally to provide increased natural light and relationships between kitchen, dining and living areas. Dry limestone external walls from the site works are introduced externally to provide mass and resonate with the Burren geology. Sheltered sitting areas and a kitchen garden are provided around the house.
